“One night …I had a plan to go into the woods. I had hung a noose a few days before. So I took a bottle of Dr. McGillicuddy that was in the freezer, I finished that. And in the middle of the night I walked into the woods and I had the plan that I was going to hang myself that night.
But something made me kind of stop. I called my friend on the phone and I said ‘Hey you know this is happening, I need your help and I want help.’ I just don't know how to do it because I knew at the moment that what I really wanted wasn't to die. It was to fix my life and to get myself back together.
So I had almost reached the woods and at that point I was like ‘NO'. I have my family and it would be awful to have them wake up and me not be there. So I called my friend”.
